Place in the Organisation The incumbent is responsible to the Chief Field Health Programme, either directly or through the Area Health Officer/Senior Medical Officer as the case may be.Primary Duties and Responsibilities · If in charge of a health centre, is responsible for the operation and administration of services including;- General clinic services, including supply management;- Mother and child health care and family planning services;- Special care services;- Oral health services;- Laboratory services;- Health information system;- Examination of Agency employed staff. · If under the supervision of Senior Medical Officer, is responsible for a general clinic and/or other special services, i.e., maternal and child health, or disease control.· In the field of administration, the medical officer , if in charge of a health center, is responsible for the supervision of the work of staff who provide health services to the community served by the unit including school health, supplementary feeding and environmental health services (in camps);· Performs such other duties as may be assigned.Minimum Qualifications· A medical degree from a recognized university including an internship of at least twelve months duration.· Possession a valid governmental license to practice medicine in the country of duty station.· At least four years of satisfactory professional working experience in medical practice.· Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.Competencieso Ability to work under pressure.o Excellent computer skills.o Excellent organizational and communication skills.EQUIVALENCYWhen the minimum requirements are not fully met, the Director of UNRWA Operations may exceptionally substitute part of the unmet requirements with a combination of relevant academic qualifications, additional professional training and progressive relevant work experience.NB: Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered an acceptable combination.How to ApplyApplicants are required to register at بعد التسجيل عليك الرد بكلمة شكرا وعمل refresh للصفحة لرؤية المحتوى في المشاركة الاولى by creating a personal profile and completing an UNRWA Personal History Form.
