    Place in the OrganisationThe Project Manager will work closely with the Chief of Relief and Social Services Programme (RSSP), Chief Area Office (CAO), Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), and staff and volunteers engaged in the Marka Maan initiative to lead and attain the Project outcomes and outputs. S/he plays a critical role in the success of the Project for roll out.Primary Duties and Responsibilities In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures: Assume responsibility for the planning, implementation and management of Project resources to ensure proper execution of Project in a timely and effective manner. Optimally utilize skills and strengths of staff, MDT, Marka Steering Group and other stakeholders in Marka to attain the Project outcomes. Ensure an open and effective channel of communication between the Amman Office, the Chief of the Area Office, MDT members, Marka Steering Group, key community networks including Camp Services Committee. Maximize participation in and ownership of the Project by different stakeholders, especially the intended beneficiaries including women, children, youth, community leaders, community organizations and referral service providers. Manage development of an effective case management system, and lead implementation of the system by following the approved procedures. Refinement in the procedures and their incorporation in the final version of the system are part of this task. Ensure optimal sustainability of the system and different initiatives introduced through capacity building and knowledge transfer. Plan, in close coordination with RSS team, the process of rolling out the system to other camps to the extent possible drawing based on the success of Marka pilot. Support women committees, youth committees, and other community based groups in group organization, including governance; and identification of developmental needs and possible resources to meet the needs. Closely monitor the progress and report, as per UNRWA requirements, using the indicators stipulated in the Project Log Frame, and ensure timely production of stated Project outputs. This includes periodic progress review with Social Workers (SWs) and MDTs, and writing of succinct quarterly progress reports as per UNRWA procedures. Monitor the work of staff, consultants, and service providers working for the Project ensuring timeliness and quality of services and products. Follow up on progress and issues regarding procurement, finance and construction with relevant UNRWA departments. Design and implement Project reviews/evaluation and develop tools for measurement of various indicators stated in the log frame. Performs such other duties as may be assigned.Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in development studies or related discipline from an accredited institution. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Project management and social development. Ability to detailed and logical work plan and budget on the basis of Project log frame. Experience of and ability to work with community based organizations and communities for social change. Ability to maintain professional relations with stakeholders across a range of different stakeholders such as community based organizations, camp authorities, national NGOs, international NGOs, government bodies and others. Strong analytical skills. Ability to use MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Word. Able to write excellent reports in English.Expected Deliverables:
    The applicant is expected to deliver the following key outputs:

    1. Delivery of Project outputs and outcomes as per the Project log frame and time line.2. Strong and effective team work in Marka. 3. Strengthened organizational set-up of community based organizations in general and women and children organizations in particular

    Desirable Qualifications:
    1. Project Management related specialized training. 2. Prior work experience of a large NGO. 3. Knowledge of socio-economic condition of Palestinian Camps in Jordan. 4.
